Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (formerly Albany College of Pharmacy) is a private, independent college whose mission is to graduate the best health care minds in the world. The college has campuses in Albany, New York and Colchester, Vermont.

The College is dedicated to the improvement of health by educating its students to create and disseminate knowledge leading to improved health care, and by optimizing the benefits of existing drug and related health care practices. The College instills values, attitudes and skills that enable lifelong intellectual, cultural and professional growth for students and faculty. The education provided facilitates progressive adaptation to changing professional practice environments.

Founded in 1881, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) is home to more than 1,700 students and approximately 150 full- and part-time faculty. The College offers an array of degree programs designed for students focused on helping people live healthier lives. In addition to its Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program, ACPHS offers four-year bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Technology, Chemistry, Health and Human Sciences, Microbiology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. ACPHS has masters degree programs in Biotechnology, Cytotechnology & Molecular Cytology, Health Outcomes Research, Biotechnology-Cytotechnology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Students may also pursue joint degrees in the fields of medicine, law, and business through cooperative agreements with area institutions.

Much of what we are able to offer as a College is made possible by the generous support of our alumni and friends. Alumni, corporations and community partners play a vital role in helping ACPHS remain a strong and vibrant institution by making a range of contributions from serving as student mentors to helping fund scholarships to volunteering at campus events. Student scholarships, memorial gifts and the Annual Fund are some of the many ways to support the College and help keep an ACPHS education affordable for our students and their families. Please contact us or visit the appropriate pages in this section of the web site if you are interested in learning more about these opportunities. We encourage alumni to also visit our Alumni Resources page, which contain exclusive benefits and information related to job openings, financial planning, how to receive an ACPHS alumni e-mail address or track down a former classmate. Whatever you do, we hope that you stay in touch with us and continue to support the College and its students. Whether it is your time or financial support, each is a gift, and everything is appreciated
