Coaches' Feedback (1)
It is with pleasure that I endorse Courtney Herick and endorse her with great enthusiasm. I believe Courtney to have as good a field vision as any player I have coached - boy or girl, premier and ODP - and it serves her well as a midfield play maker. What she might lack in speed is more than made up for in three attributes which I attribute to her vision: possession with the ball under pressure, distribution of the ball to 2nd and 3rd attackers and movement in support of the ball. In addition, Courtney's ability to defend in the midfield and also on the back line is solid and offers versatility as a player. She has well-rounded skills in all phases of the game and a lot of natural talent and feel that can't be taught. I have coached Courtney for two winter seasons at the premier level and years earlier as a youth player coming up through the Rogue Valley program. I know her well and I can tell you with certainty, this is a quality soccer player and a young lady with total class and integrity. Her willingness to do what is best for the team or what the coach wants is to be appreciated, and her want to come through for the team is another admirable attribute. In a nutshell, Courtney Herick is a naturally skilled soccer player and a wonderful young lady who makes the beautiful game shine.Dave Potter - Head Coach, Rogue Valley Timbers

Personal Statement
I am a team leader. I see the field of play and make good passes. I pride myself in keeping my team calm and in control of the ball. I am confident in corner kicks, free kicks, penalty kicks, and scoring from well outside the 20-yard line. Soccer is a team sport and I play for the team—not myself. I am coachable and get along with my team members. I feel like I can let it all go and just be 'me' when I am on the pitch. Here is an interview from our local paper with a short video of my free kick from around the 40-yars mark that bounced off the crossbar. http://www.mailtribune.com/varsity/20160910/aiming-for-more
